Words That I Like -- Pt. 2

Hey again! I'm procrastinating, which means I was able to finish my second "Favorite Words" list =D If you didn't read the first one you can find it here. And now for the second list of 50 =D

Oh, and I was nice this time and provided you with definitions since, well, yeah. That takes time! >:O Appreciate it! Lazy muffins. And yes, I thought of these definitions myself. Ask Google if you don't believe me! Google --> "define: word" --> page with definitions>
Okay so I confirmed some with Google to make sure they made complete sense, but I wrote them and considered them all on my own because that's how we think of words. I don't think of words based on the dictionary definition, I relate them as they are used.

Affirmation
(You know this)
Alimony
Support, as in legal stuffies
Ameliorate
to make sweeter, nicer, make someone feel better; butter it up so they suck it up, like apologizing
Antiquate
to make old
Coitus
wikky wikky
Cognizant
Conscious, intelligent, aware
Collude
To cloud, make vague, obscure
Condone
To accept, approve of
Copulate
More wikky wikky, but of the more scientific methodology
Culminate
To bring together, compose
Cyanide
POISON!
Defenestrate
Toss out, esp. from a window
Denigrate
To bring down, belittle
Deprecate
To disapprove of, abhor
Desolate
Lame, as in the world during the zombie apocalypse
Disquiet
To disturb, bother, unsettle; also a noun, so you can cause someone great disquiet, but it's the same thing (like meaning disturbance)
Disseminate
To spread, usually unfavorably
Dissipate
To spread, also, but more like, dividing; you disseminate rumors, ideas; you dissipate people
Fortitude
Promise, providence, luck
Hindrance
A problem, trouble, a bother, something in the way
Impertinent
Not important
Inanity
The nerve, or lack thereof, because it isn't important so it's like, you have the nerve! You could be cool and say, you had the inanity! (lack of sense)
Incorrigible
Troublesome, like people, especially loud people, who like, don't know when to shut up, or can't accept your appreciations without being sarcastic or jerk-like about it
Intrepid
Superior! like the Titanic (or so we thought >.>), impervious
Irrevocable
That which cannot be revoked, taken back
Mewling
Kittehs do this, pleading, with pizazz
Opacity
A level of collusion, how opaque (dark, clouded, hard to see [through]) something is
Opulent
Shiny, think opals, reflective but with that special kind of shimmer: smooth stones = opulent, smooth silverware =/= opulent
Percolate
To shake, with rhythm hopefully, pop pop pop, odd method of dancing popularized by some singer person
Prelude
To lude previously (kidding) the beginning, before the beginning
Punctual
On time
Pundit
The initiator, cause, usually of great purpose
Pungent
Strong in odor
Qualm
Feelings against an ordeal, feelings of disquiet toward something
Quandary
A question, issue, to be resolved
Reify
To realize, or perceive as real; make conspicuous, in a sense
Siphon
Drippy drippy, pull from; siphoning ink from your parchment with your wand ^_^
Solace
Comfort
Taper
to ease away, to end in a slow, easy way; tapers off, ends gradually
Tautology
When you say something that pretty much implies circular judgment or logic; misused as a meme "Angry cat is angry", but it gets the point across; good for debates, because people need to be reminded things over and over before they can learn them or figure it out.
Tomfoolery
Exactly what it sounds like
Torrent / Torrential
Look outside, that is a torrent. Excesses of rain, sudden downpour
Tumult
Trouble, particularly of the escalating design; super disquiet
Vapid
Vague, empty; something vapid is full of inanity
Vesicle
mini-bag
Vilify
To make the villain, portray as evil
Vindicate
to free, approve, affirm, maintain, justify
Virulent
Virile, negative, pernicious, deadly, like cyanide, but more like slander and libel
Visceral
Here's a sciencey word for those people
Viscous
Another one we can all use; thick
