It's funny.
I was thinking about the kind of music I like to listen to, and I realized that I listened mostly to males singing, not females. Thus, most of my vocal training is in the male voice. Maybe that is why I sang alto so much, and pretty deeply. I didn't really have any female artists whose CDs I really wanted to buy. My first CD was Simple Plan (or Matchbox 20...I don't remember which came first; it was too close). I buy CDs for Yellowcard, Boyz II Men, Fall Out Boy, Owl City...things like that. Iris! Man I love their voices. He's so lovely... (Below Video -- Iris -- "Vacant")
Anyway, I don't mind loving the male singing voice. But that doesn't mean I don't like the way females sing. They're fine too. I just like guys better. Especially the deep voices...Oh man...*heavy lust induced sigh*
